DIRECTORS
AMANDA WILLIAMS
Director
Amanda Williams is delighted to be directing with Milan High School again. She previously directed MHS's production of Mary Poppins (2019). Williams is an MHS alum herself, graduating in 2011. Thereafter, she completed her Masters in Vocal Performance from Bowling Green State University and her Bachelors in Vocal Performance from EMU. Along with being an avid performer in the community she directs with Center Stage Productions and is the Theater Director at Concordia University. She hopes you enjoy the dark humor and love that makes The Addams Family. Likewise, she hopes that each of the students know they are forever welcome, accpeted, and a part of the MHS theater family.
DENNIS GLASS
Assistant Director
Dennis is a Milan High School Theater Alumni who recently moved back to the area. He is currenlty working at the Milan Middle School and aspires to be a teacher and a director. This is his second experience direclty and he has grown so much during this show. He is so thankful that Amanda allowed him to shadow her and for trusting him to direct certain scenes. His is so thankful for the opportunity to come back and work with a different generation of Milan theater kids. Lastly, he wants to give a shout out to his sister for being in her first high school production and killing it!
MEGAN
Musical Director
Megan is a professional vocalist and music instructor with a Bchelors and Masters of Music in Classical Vocal Performance from Northwestern University and San Francisco State University. She is an active performed, experienced in a variety of musical genres including opera, musical theater, symphonic/oratio repertorie, as well as new music copositions. Megan is the featured vocalist on an album enititles "Sorrow," a re-imagining of Heryk Górecki's Symphony No. 3, and has been traveling abroad for the past four years peforming at various music festivals in Europe and North Ameria. An Ann Arbor native, she recently moved back from the San Francisco Bay Area. While living in California, she performed over twenty-five lead and suporting operatic and musicals roles, and served as musical director, private voice instructor and choreographer for a variety of professional, as well as children's theater companies. Megan teaches voice/theaterical voice privately and at Michigan Academy of Dance and Music in Dexter, MI. Recnetly, she served as the musical director for Young People's Theater's productions of Hunchback of Notre Dame and Drowsy Chaperone as well as the spring procudtion of Matilda.
ANNA GRADWOHL
Choreographer
Anna Gradwhol has been training as a dancer since the age of four and has been teaching and choreographing for the past 13 years. She grew up and began her training in Chanhassen, MN wher she studied ballet, tap, musical theater, hip-hop, and contemporary styles. After performing competitvely through high school, Gradwhold attended Palm Beach Atlantic University wher she studied and recieved her undergraduate degress in Dance Performance with a minor in Exercise Science. Her collegiate studies focused on Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Composition and Imporvisational techiniques. After college, Anna spent four years directing the dance program at Marantha High School in Pasadena, CA and teaching at local dance studios. She implemented a dance cirriculum for beginning to advanced levels, and created/directed an afterschool dance company. .Anna continued her studies at the Universit of Northern Colorado where she earned he MA in Dance Education. Since her move to Ann Arbor, MI in 2017, she has been teaching at Michigan Academy of Dance and Music, teaching dance in Ann Arbor public elementary schools and is the Assistant Dance Coach at Concordia University.
